Traveling has been my life and work. It is the magic that sparks my imagination and stirs my soul. I grew up in a family of world travelers, hearing stories around the table and having foreign guests always at our house.

For over 30 years I have traveled the United States, working first as a folklorist and later as an folk and outsider art dealer. For years I drove the back roads of the Midwest, South and Southwestern US, taking in the landscape and culture of middle America. Over the last 10 years I returned to traveling internationally to Third World countries. I am also a documentary photographer.

Meeting people and experiencing cultures is my passion. For years I embarked on various adventures to many different wonderful countries. In the last few years I have had the great joy of sharing my vision and travel experiences with others leading tours - first to Cuba and now also India. I have a talent in finding interesting people and places to meet and visit. I bring this ability to my tours. I am not a typical "tour person" and so my tours are not your typical tours. I don't like to be bored and promise you won't be either!

I design my tours to be comfortable and interesting. We travel in small, congenial groups and on comfortable buses. We stay in nice accommodations and eat at good restaurants. I always work with experienced local guides who give us keen insight into the culture and are a delight to have travel with us.

I design the itinerary of each tour and customize it to match the interests of each group. No two tours are the same.

Meeting people and experiencing cultures is my passion and my goal is to share that in my tours.
